Mars Anomalies

The photograph analyzed here (PSP_005229_1265) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 07 September 2007 and is described as ‘Aonia Terra Crater Interior.’

Featured here are anomalies I discovered at a site North of Ross in a region of Mars called Aonia Terra. Years ago I upscaled the images using PhotoZoom Pro, in this presentation I present the same images upscaled using Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel. I show a comparison between those upscaled using PhotoZoomPro and Gigapixel towards the end of the video too.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

The photograph analyzed here (PSP_004212_1230) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 20 June 2007 and is described as ‘High Thermal Inertia and Mixed Surface Textures.’

Featured here are anomalies I discovered at a site in Surius Vallis in a region of Mars called Argyre Planitia. Years ago I upscaled the images using PhotoZoom Pro, in this presentation I present the same images upscaled using Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_033340_1385) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 06 September 2013 and is described as ‘Complex Dunes in Thaumasia Region.’

Recently I published a video featuring an anomaly on Mars that has a similar shape to the Baltic Sea Anomaly. Featured here are the remaining anomalies in this photograph. There are three objects in this photograph that are intriguing: they are very thin and are perpendicular to the surface and range between three and four metres tall. There are some megalithic blocks, a disc that looks as if it’s covered in some type of material (almost like a parachute) and various other odds and ends that look interesting.

This site is located in Ogygis Regio in a region of Mars called Argyre Planitia.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

Control/test images:

Following are two upscaled images showing how Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel upscales normal rocks and boulders at this site. These show that the resulting upscaled images look natural and the size and shape as well as highlights and shadows look accurate and unchanged compared to the originals and consequently these parameters were used to upscale the remaining images:

The photograph analyzed here (PSP_006496_1245) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 15 December 2007 and is described as ‘Clark Crater Floor Deposits.’

Previously I featured an anomaly (together with a 3D illustration) consisting of two parts, a seven metre wide Crescent and 4 metres tall dish. I put together a 3D illustration of this feature showing actual size, I added three astronauts to illustrate how huge this feature is.

Here I feature the remaining anomalies I discovered in this NASA/JPL JP2 Black and White Map Projected photograph (image is 1.3 GB in size).

This site is located in Clark in a region of Mars called Terra Sirenum.

Below are 3D illustrations (artistic impressions) I created depicting the size and shape of the anomaly above. The top view shows what the anomaly looks like as photographed from orbit and the side view shows what I speculate the object looks like as seen from the side. The astronauts in the illustration are two metres tall.

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_083850_1205) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 15 June 2024 and is described as ‘Monitoring Dust Devil Tracks.’

Here I feature new anomalies I discovered at a site in Sitrah in a region of Mars called Terra Sirenum.

Anomalies at this site include: huge megalithic blocks as well as large discs and domes, structures that look similar in appearance to outposts/dwellings, strange geometric depictions and many objects that have a metallic-like appearance (wreckage?).

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
