Category: A Mars HiRISE Epic

The photograph analyzed here (PSP_006609_1330) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 24 December 2007 and is described as ‘Complex Dunes in Kaiser Crater.’

Here I feature anomalies I discovered at a new site in Noachis Terra. These include what I speculate might be obelisks or the the remains of geometrical/symmetrical structures, various objects with protrusions or knobs in their centers, many similar megalithic blocks/slabs and strange ‘sculpted’ objects.

Due to the symmetry and geometry, the so-called dunes in the photograph appear very unnatural, i.e. the sinusoidal/wavy pattern is repeated and the spacing between them are uniform (the small arc-shaped objects between these are also spaced equally apart). Could the sand be covering a strange structure/s?

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_046404_2275) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 20 June 2016 and is described as ‘Deuteronilus Mensae.’

Here I feature anomalies I discovered at a new site in Deuteronilus Mensae. These include what I speculate might be the the remains of geometrical/symmetrical structures (one such anomaly looks almost grid-like in its design), various objects with protrusions or knobs in their centers, many similar megalithic blocks/slabs and strange ‘sculpted’ objects.

Of particular interest again is another geometrical/symmetrical surface feature. The inside appears cleared out with rocks and stones being pushed to the sides. What is it with these square/hexagonal geometry on Mars?

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
