The photograph analyzed here (PSP_004219_1155) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 21 June 2007 and is described as ‘Sand Dunes.’
Here I feature anomalies I discovered at a new site in Heinlein in a region of Mars called Promethei Terra. The anomalies are diverse and range from megalithic blocks/slabs with protrusions in their centers to triangular depictions on large bases and ling narrow blocks (like columns/pillars perhaps). One anomaly featured here is of special interest: there is an ‘L-shaped’ object on a rectangular base (very similar to one I discovered in Elysium Planitia).
All these anomalies look very similar to others I discovered at a site about 80km to the East. Could be be looking at remnants of ancient megalithic structures that where destroyed in the distant past? Many of the anomalies compare favorably to megalithic ruins we find here at sites on Earth.
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
