The photograph analyzed here (ESP_074945_1160) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 23 July 2022 and is described as ‘Periglacial Survey.’
Here I feature anomalies I discovered at a site near Maraldi in a region of Mars south of Argyre Planitia. The anomalies include: a structure-type anomaly with multiple right-angles/bevels/layers, megalithic blocks/slabs with holes/protrusions/knobs in their centers, a possible sculpted/machined block with parallel slots and various other anomalous objects.
I also highlight the geology of this region and compare it to periglacial sites here on Earth, there are similar small boulders and polygonal fractures on the surface of Mars. However, the huge rectangular artifacts are totally out of place.
Many of the megalithic blocks resemble those we find here on Earth at ancient ruins in South America for example.
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
