The photograph analyzed here (B17_016259_2199_XN_39N300W) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 2010-01-14 and is described as ‘Protonilus/Nilosyrtis fretted terrain – northern plains transition area.’
Here I feature a anomalies I discovered several years ago at a site in Protonilus Mensae located in the Northern mid-latitudes of Mars. I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel AI to upscale these image with awesome results. The artifacts looks similar to a saucer/disc and measures approximately 300 metres in diameter and the block/ramp measure 2000 metres by 300 metres in size. Is this possibly a crashed craft or structure and the block and unfinished monolith or ramp?
In future I’ll be redoing the best older anomalies I featured using Gigapixel AI to show you unprecedented detail I wasn’t able to in the past using PhotoZoom Pro 7.
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
