REDUX Anomalies West of Kuiper on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (PSP_005205_1230) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 06 September 2007 and is described as ‘Terra Sirenum Crater Interior.’

Here I feature two anomalies I previously discovered West of Kuiper in a region of Mars called Terra Cimmeria. As the images featured previously were upscaled using older software I decided to re-upscale these with newer image upscaling software to reveal better detail. The anomaly measure between approximately 6 metres to 7 metres in diameter.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel to upscale this image.

Two Virtually Identical Objects Discovered in Same Area East of Asimov on Mars

Two photographs are analyzed here:

ESP_048581_1305 was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 06 December 2016 and is described as ‘Ridges and Depressions’ and PSP_003972_1305 which was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 01 June 2007 and is described as ‘Proposed MSL Site in Southern Mid-Latitude Craters.’

Here I feature two anomalies I previously discovered at a location East of Asimov in a region of Mars called Noachis Terra (the two objects are at two sites approximately 20 km apart). The two anomalies are virtually identical in size and shape, symmetry and geometry and both have small protrusions close to their corners. I speculate that the single object was part of a dome shaped structure-like feature consisting of four parts, however those are no longer present.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel to upscale this image.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

Saucer-Shaped Object Spotted in Hydraotes Colles on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_014166_1820) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 04 August 2009 and is described as ‘Possible Layering in Block Material in Hydraotes Chaos.’

Here I feature an anomaly I previously discovered at a site in Hydraotes Colles in a region of Mars called Hydraotes Chaos. As the image featured previously was upscaled using older software I decided to re-upscale this one with newer image upscaling software to reveal better detail.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel Standard v2 to upscale this image.

Pure speculation: Could this be a small, rather old Amundsen-Scott Antarctica-type dome constructed of Silica Aeroge?

Anomalies North of Peneus Palus on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_036751_1485) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 30 May 2014 and is described as ‘Very Rocky Patch of Ground in Southern Highlands.’

Here I feature new anomalies I discovered at a site North of Peneus Palus in a region of Mars called Hellas Planitia.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel Recovery to upscale these images.

Huge Dome-Shaped Anomaly Spotted in Cydonia Mensae on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (P21_009115_2081_XN_28N019W) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 06 July 2008 and is described as ‘Terrain north of Mawrth Vallis.’

Here I feature an anomaly I discovered at a site in Cydonia Mensae, North of Mawrth Vallis. It appears dome-shaped and is approximately 300 metres in diameter. Of particular interest is the almost perfect symmetry and geometry of the dome shape.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel to upscale this image.

As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.

The Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station which was apparently dismantled in January 2010:

Pure speculation: Could this huge dome-shaped anomaly on Mars be something like a huge Amundsen-Scott Antarctica-type dome constructed of Silica Aeroge? Scientists state, these domes on Mars would be self-sufficient, thus no external technology is visible. To quote from the article referenced at the bottom of this page: “The researchers suggest that regions of the Martian surface could be made habitable with a material-silica aerogel-that mimics Earth’s atmospheric greenhouse effect. Through modeling and experiments, the researchers show that a two to three-centimeter-thick shield of silica aerogel could transmit enough visible light for photosynthesis, block hazardous ultraviolet radiation, and raise temperatures underneath permanently above the melting point of water, all without the need for any internal heat source.” Further: “This material could be used to build habitation domes or even self-contained biospheres on Mars on Mars.” Refer to the reference links provided below for further information in this regard.

Building these domes inside craters would be a good idea as craters offer some protection. Perhaps one day in the future domes like these will be built in craters on Mars. This is just pure speculation and my two cents worth.

Here I feature new anomalies I discovered at a site just North of Asimov in a region of Mars called Noachis Terra.

Alternative Photographs Reveals New Anomalies in Proctor on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_058998_1320) was acquired by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 26 February 2019 and is described as ‘Proctor Crater Dune Gullies.’

Here I feature new anomalies I discovered at a site I previously featured in Proctor in a region of Mars called Noachis Terra.

This particular site in Proctor has several megalithic blocks scattered all over, much like ancient megalithic sites here on Earth. The presence of discs and domes adds to the mystery.

I used Topaz Labs’ Gigapixel Recovery to upscale this image.
