The two photographs analyzed here were taken by Rover Curiosity on Sol 3622 (14 October 2022) using its ChemCam.
Featured here are three examples of what look similar to water seepage (it looks like liquid seeped up to the surface and ran down the slopes of this sand bank).
Also featured here are dozens of small objects that look like fungi (even mushrooms). I estimate these spherical objects to be about 1 cm in diameter.
Could these small button mushroom-shaped object be living creatures getting their moisture from this possible source of water?
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these objects might be.
