Three Rover Curiosity photographs are analyzed here. All three photographs were taken by the rover’s Mast Camera (Mastcam) on 2014-05-03 (Sol 618).
Shown here are several blocks and slabs at a site visited by the Rover Curiosity on Sol 618. I estimate the square-shaped blocks to be about a metre across (no scale indicator is provided by NASA for these photographs so I’m speculating the size).
Could these have been part of a destroyed megalithic structure? There are similar blocks and slabs at ancienet megalithic sites here on Earth, for example Pumapunku Ruins, Bolivia:
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these anomalies might be.
