This photograph was taken by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3551 (2022-08-02 20:43:28 UTC).
Shown here are two totally out-of-place items (considering the surrounding terrain, rocks and boulders). Note the straight edges, right-angles, smooth flat surfaces, symmetry and geometry to the objects. I estimate these to be about a half a metre in length (no scale indicator is provided by NASA for this photograph so I’m speculating the size).
The larger object looks similar to a sarcophagus and the smaller object looks like a piece of ducting (I’m not saying that is what these are, they merely look similar – comparisons only).
Could these objects be part of a destroyed structure, sculpture, machinery, technology or wreckage?
As always, until we get to see these anomalies up close and personal, I can only speculate as to what these anomalies might be.
